Travel Vaccinations

It is important to ensure you are fully covered for vaccinations prior to travel to another country to minimise your risk of disease. Information on which vaccinations are recommended can be found here.

Please note that most travel vaccinations are not included in the services provided by the NHS.

If you require advice on vaccinations relating to any travel, please contact the surgery to book a telephone appointment with one of our nurses at least 4-6 weeks prior to your planned date of travel.

The surgery is able to give vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Hepatitis B which are chargeable (you will be advised of the fees in your telephone appointment). You can get anti-malaria prophylaxis at your local pharmacy for a fee.

We will also administer any vaccinations you/your family may have missed which are part of the national immunisation schedules which are not chargeable.

Other local private clinics that provide Travel advice and vaccinations are listed below. Please note we are not affiliated with any of the below services.
